Mangawhero Forest Walk

If you’re after a short, easy nature walk with minimal effort, the Mangawhero Forest Walk is a great stop to add to your itinerary.

Tucked within the stunning landscapes of Tongariro National Park, the Mangawhero Forest Walk sits near Ohakune, on the southwestern side of Mount Ruapehu. It’s easily accessible and makes for a perfect stop whether you’re exploring the region or just passing through.
